This comic spawned from a few different things. It started with a desire to teach myself “Isometric Pixel Art” and a general love of web comics. A seven hour conversation with the “Religious Right” half of my family dropped me off a cliff of cynicism and gave me the motivation to actually sit down and create it. Here you will find small snippets of that conversation (and many others) as the comic progresses. I know that much of what I do on here would not necessarily be classified as “Isometric Pixel Art,” but the art form is part of what inspired me to start.
